The Open Philanthropy Project recommended two grants totaling $430,000 over two years to Brighter Green to support work to host another Good Food Hero Summit as well as smaller summits, administer a “Good Food Incubator” for activists and social enterprises, and research the state of factory farming and advocacy in the region. These grants represent a renewal of our September 2016 support to Brighter Green.

One of these grants was a discretionary grant, and both fall within our focus area of farm animal welfare.
