Managing Director, Global Health and Wellbeing

Emily leads Open Philanthropy’s work on Global Health and Wellbeing, which allocates hundreds of millions of dollars per year and includes programs focused on scientific research, policy advocacy, global development, and phasing out the worst factory farm practices. She joined Open Philanthropy in April 2021, first working on new cause investigations and helping to manage the Regranting Challenge. She previously worked at DeepMind, Uber, and TGG Group. She has a BSFS in International Political Economy from Georgetown University and an MPhil in Economics from Oxford University.
