Jason joined Open Philanthropy in April 2022. He works to identify new areas where Open Philanthropy could have high impact and also helps to prioritize across existing causes. Before joining Open Philanthropy, Jason was a Senior Research Manager at Rethink Priorities, where he worked on animal welfare and global health and development issues. He holds a PhD in philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin.
