Stephanie brings over five years of senior People leadership experience from GiveDirectly, where she served as Vice President of People and helped scale the organization from 275 to 975 staff across 11 countries while leading their transition to a remote-first culture spanning 22 countries. Prior to GiveDirectly, she spent nearly a decade in senior roles at the NYC Department of Education, where she led recruiting programs, managed multi-million-dollar budgets, and spearheaded initiatives to diversify the teaching workforce. She holds a B.A. in English (with distinction) from Wake Forest University and a Master of Science for Teachers from Pace University.
