Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $1,800,000 over two years to FAR AI to support FAR Futures, an initiative that consists of events, outreach activities, and other programs aimed at helping to build and coordinate the fields of AI safety research and governance.

This falls within our focus area of Global Catastrophic Risks Capacity Building.
