    Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of £2,651,304 (approximately $3,559,572 at the time of conversion) over 2.5 years to Compassion in World Farming (CIWF) to support its farm animal welfare work in Europe. CIWF will use the grant to continue its corporate outreach on broiler chicken welfare and efforts to end the use of cages and crates for all farmed animal species.

    This follows our July 2021 support and falls within our focus area of farm animal welfare.
