Open Philanthropy recommended two grants totaling £1,083,600 ($1,391,971 at the time of conversion) to Compassion in World Farming (CIWF) to support its work to advance farm animal welfare in Asia. CIWF plans to engage in corporate outreach on poultry welfare and to re-grant funds to farm animal welfare groups throughout Asia.

This follows our September 2019 support and falls within our focus area of farm animal welfare.

The grant amount was updated in July 2022.
