Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of €586,000 (~$635,000 at the time of conversion) over two years to Eurogroup for Animals to support EU advocacy work for layer hen and broiler chicken welfare. This funding will enable Eurogroup for Animals to carry out EU welfare campaigns, provide regrants to cage-free advocacy groups, and research layer hen and broiler chicken welfare.

This follows our September 2017 support and falls within our focus area of farm animal welfare.
