    Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $12,470,000 over two years to Mercy for Animals (MFA) to support their broiler welfare and cage-free corporate campaigns in the United States, Latin America, and globally. This funding will also support MFA’s People’s Fund, which makes grants to groups with the aim of improving racial diversity and equity in the farm animal movement.

    This follows our June 2021 support and falls within our focus area of farm animal welfare.
