    Open Philanthropy recommended a total of $1,623,938 to support the 2022 cohort of the Open Philanthropy Technology Policy Fellowship. This fellowship provides fellows with policy-focused training and mentorship and matches them with an organization for a full-time fellowship related to AI or biosecurity policy. We sought applications for this funding  here.

    Open Philanthropy recommended grants to both individual fellows and some of their host organizations to support the fellowship. The amount above also includes some other costs of implementing the program.
