    The Open Philanthropy Project recommended a grant of £5,217 ($6,683 at the time of conversion) to the Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics to host a workshop on animal sentience. The one-day workshop aimed at academics and policymakers will include presentations of new science on animal sentience, including in fish and invertebrates, as well as discussions of the ethical and policy implications of those findings.
