Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $150,000 to Southsiders Organized for Unity and Liberation (SOUL) to support work on prosecutorial accountability in Chicago. This funding is intended to enable SOUL to train organizers and faith leaders in campaigning, push for policy changes, and frame the media narrative on criminal justice issues broadly and prosecutor-related topics in particular.
