Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $5,000 to the Vegan Women Summit, to be held in San Francisco in February 2020, for general support. The summit aims to empower vegan women, particularly women of color, and inspire them to be leaders of the plant-based movement. A portion of the summit’s proceeds will benefit Mercy for Animals.

This falls within our focus area of farm animal welfare.
