    Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $525,000 over two years to the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) to support its work to develop and implement welfare standards for farmed shrimp, which will be incorporated into its sustainability certification program.

    This follows our March 2018 support for ASC’s work on fish welfare standards, and falls within our focus area of farm animal welfare, specifically within our interest in fish welfare.
